Remote
Work Hub
NOLA
In collaboration with the city of New Orleans and several non-profit partners, Formwork identified an underutilized public parcel as the site for the Remote Work Hub. This led to the development of an innovative public private partnership structure that aligned goals, added affordable housing to the project and directed future revenue to support the operation and maintenance of a vital public park.
Formwork was selected as a national winner of the RFP and this project remains in development.

Formwork assembled the team and led the response to a national Request For Proposals to develop a “Remote Work Hub.” Our proposal posits that remote work fundamentally shifts how cities evolving by enabling regions to recruit workers, not companies. This conception gives New Orleans a natural advantage; its rich culture, modest cost of living and accessible scale deliver a great quality of life.
